How Winning Is Done

I’m not going to lie, I completely forgot about this post. I started writing about the most amazing movie saga to exist and somehow never got around to finishing it. I know, I’ll go haze myself after I finish this.

Rocky Balboa – Honestly, not one of my favorites, but it still deserves a watch. The mood throughout this entire movie is a little dark, but for good reason. Rocky is older and far removed from the sport of boxing when randomly out comes a simulated match between the current champ, Mason Dixon, and Rocky, in his prime. This sparked conversations that later lead to an exhibition match between the two. Unlike the movie which shall remane nameless, this one has a real boxer who can actually act. I know, it blew my mind too. It’s really hard to write this one without giving too much away, and just as hard to find a meaningful spoiler-free clip. It’s not all dark, there are a couple of really high moments in the film… Why am I still talking about this!? Go watch the freaking movie!

Creed – Yes! Yes, yes, Y, E, S, YES! This is what you’ve been waiting for. The official turn of the page, and what a page turner it is! I’m going to go ahead and just let the clip speak for itself… And remind you to GO WATCH THE MOVIES!… Wait… One more thing… While filming the movie Michael B Jordan got knocked out, for real… They left that scene in the film…

P.S. Yea… That’s right… It’s Sly with the Lombardi trophy… The Philadelphia Eagles Lombardi trophy… Because the Eagles won the Superbowl!!! Just saying, a better Rocky picture does not exist.
