Irregularly Scheduled Program

Now that the A to Z Challenge has come to an end and the Write Club competition is about to start their first week of cage bouts I guess I can get back to doing what I do best… Making empty promises about what the future holds for my blog! As usual, you can count on being disappointed with my blog. Disappointment number one will be that whatever I say here is of course subject to change without warning. And disappointment number two is that I am going away on another workation next month and plan to use that entire month to do nothing but publish flashback posts. Yup, that’s right. No new posts next month. Better get your fill this month!

It’s not that bad really, the flashback posts are the ones the have the least amount of views so chances are you haven’t read them yet. They’ll be new to you. As for Write Club, I was planning on telling you how I made out in the slush pool… That is, until I realized that the slush pool is still receiving votes. You’ll have to wait and see I guess. But, while you wait you should go and show some support.

Now, the ABC challenge. Oh boy. I knew that it was going to be tough, but you have no idea just how tough it was. I don’t even know where to start. Posting every day, that crap is for the birds. Well, no, it’s not… I really enjoyed it actually. But it’s not for me. I’d love to say that I’m going to keep it going, but I’m worn out. I need a break. I need to get back to posting once or twice a week.

The posts that I published last month still need some editing, some need to be finished, and some won’t make it further than this April A to Z Challenge. However, some of them will end up in a collection of short stories that I plan on turning into a book! Do me a favor and let me know if any of them stood out to you as either bookworthy or cutting room floor worthy.

And now… The empty promises! I of course cannot keep up with posting every day. I think I can keep it going for this month though. Possibly. We will see. So you can expect a daily post through June and then it’s back to twice a week once a week. If you followed my blog prior to April you know that normally I publish maybe one fiction post a month. I’ll try and step it up when I get back.

This month, I’m not sure yet. I actually have nothing at all planned so I’ll have to dig through my drafts and see what I can come up with. You could help… I’m tossing around the idea of adding my ever-growing idea list to my posts so that you can see it and request something that you’d like to read. So… Here goes…
