Easy As 123?

I’ve decided to sign up for the A-Z Challenge… Well, I was kind of talked into doing it, by Giggles, so you can blame her if my blog falls flat on its face next month. Basically, you publish a post everyday (aside from Sundays (aside from the first Sunday)) relating some way to the corresponding letter in the alphabet. Oh, and there’s a theme. One that you pick that carries through the month. My theme is going to be fiction from my ever growing “To Be Written” list.

Simple right? I really want to try to get some of these story ideas out of my head and onto paper (er, internet) so why not use this as motivation?

This is usually something that people plan out and schedule posts for but in true fashion I made the decision to do this a day late and a dollar short. So my posts may or may not be as long as you’re used to. More likely than not I’ll be writing some of the post the day that I choose to publish them so they may or may not be posted around the time that you’re used to. And they may or may not be edited prior to posting. Oh, and they may or may not actually be finished when I post them.

Basically, you may or may not want to avoid this blog in April. If you are crazy enough to choose to go ahead and read my work, more power to ya. You’re in for as much of an adventure as I am! Also, if you have yet to read any of my previous works of fiction you should probably do so before making your decision. They, um, they aren’t for everyone.

Im going to go ahead and finish/edit and repost some of my previous work during this challenge as well, so if you want to wait and see I guess that’s your prerogative. Now I say this pretty often and no one understands it when I say it, but I’m going to say it again… The posts that are titled Unfinished Business are unfinished. The majority of them were posted prior to being edited. I didn’t even begin to work out the kinks in those stories. So please, I love feedback, but take that into consideration when reading those ones.

Until next time, Bear with me.

P.S. If you are doing the challenge let me know, I’d love to read your posts and follow along with your theme. I could also use the added motivation to help get me through this. Oh, and this is not my picture, I got it off of the challenge website. Go check it out.

Hi there I am also signing up for the A to Z, I did it a few years ago on a long forgotten blog and felt it would be a great way to get back into regular blogging focus. Looking forward to seeing your posts. I have a theme of sorts and a rough plan but will be trying to hit the keyboard over the next few days to tighten up my plans! Happy blogging xx

I am going to try and tackle the AtoZ of frugal, pretty much setting the foundations for my blog. So far I have 4 post written and all but X have a plan. How are you tackling the tricky letters?

    3. That sounds like a pretty good theme, and a great way to get your blog rolling. I’m not sure how I’m going to tackle it just yet. I’m going to sit down today and go through the letters and assign posts to them… Hopefully lol

Blame me or thank me for giving you a little push to work on your fiction a little bit more? I’m still waiting for your book and *demand* a signed copy…preferably with a dedication page about how my annoyance pushed you to write and without me you wouldn’t have finished 😏😉

And don’t think I missed that capital letter in the middle of a sentence Alphonso. Basic grammar rules 🐼 😄😜

    1. Lol you point out the capital letter but not the fact that it’s misspelled? I’ll count that as a win. And depending on how this goes I might use some of these stories in the book… I just need to find a couple peeps and/or meeps to critique/edit them

oo little panda! It’s not misspelled haha. “bare with me” means to endure, “bear with me” is to be patient.

And you have my email if you need an edit check.

    3. Lol I meant “bare” as in to uncover or discover… This is a pretty deep rabbit hole I dug us into here
