So I’m not going to lie, I almost forgot about posting today. Maybe posting within 7 days or less is a little overly ambitious. I mean how do people do this? Even coming up with a topic, let’s see, what adventures have I had since my last post? Or should I say “what adventures that I am willing to write about have I had since my last post?” Not much to be honest, things definitely happened, but they will most likely come out later. So then there is the “what would my readers want to hear?” Well, I’ve had 14 visitors so far, two of which have left comments, one of which I knew prior to starting this blog so I’m not really “known” enough to say that I have readers. I have a couple drafts started of pre-planned blogs, is that how all of these are going to have to be? Or maybe, I’ll just get really good at winging it.
As a “blogger” I wonder, at what point am I actually “allowed” to call myself a “blogger”? And what are my responsibilities as one? Do I have to stick to a schedule? Do I have to tell a personal story? Do I have to be truthful? How big or small should my posts be? Do I actually have ANY guidelines that I should follow? The amount of freedom that this comes with is actually painting me into a bit of a corner. Weird. Let’s start with addressing my readers…. I think my next post will be about some of my military memories. But after that, what topic would you like me to cover? Until next time, if you don’t like misquoted and misused clichés then get jiggy wit it.
I have no idea how to do that… Just embrace the end of days!

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Many thanks!

Hi alphonso. How about a short bio? Maybe some favorite movies and songs. Sure, everyone does it, but I always like to read them.

I like it! I have an “about me” blog in my drafts that I’m am working on, but right now it seems a little bland. Throwing in some of my favorites would definitely liven it up.

Haha this post reminded me of when I first started blogging and I was all lost and confused like you are right now.
In my opinion the best ways to get more traffic/followers is to explore as many other blogs as possible and find other bloggers with similar interests.
And when it comes to what to write I think you should just write about whatever you feel comfortable with. Don’t care to much about what other people think about your writing. It might take a while but you’ll get the hang of it soon and you’ll find a balance of what to write about and what topics and niches you want your blog to be about.

Thank you, I’ve made it a point to seek out blog and bloggers of similar interests. I’ve gotten a few idea from them, and read a ton of interesting stories. I’m thoroughly enjoying the chaos beginning my blog so far haha.

Do what you want with your blogging – you have no guidelines so be free!
I’ve only been on WordPress for a couple months but I’ve seen no unspoken rules for the length of blog posts so as far as I know, anything goes 🙂
When it comes to topics, many people swear by a certain area and call it the key to success. I, however, don’t do thing as writings what comes to my head seems to make it flow better!
Oh! And call yourself a blogger when you feel like a blogger 🙂 I’m in the same boat when it comes to that because I don’t know if I count as a blogger yet haha

Thank you! I just took a glance at your page and with 500+ followers and more than 6 months of blogging on your page I would consider you to be a blogger.

No problem 🙂 I’ve always been unsure of what counts as a blogger so I resulted to just saying you’re a blogger when you feel like one!

Easy! Haha I definitely will write about that. Actually, I guess “Top 10 Tuesday” is a thing, maybe I’ll make a top ten list. Spoiler Alert; Reason Number 1- Because I grew up and currently live in PA.
