About Me!

In #Bloglife I told you that I would do a follow up to About Who?, and I am NOT a liar. So, here it is! I recently found a Q&A blog post by Fattymccupcakes, which I later found out derived from a post originally done by StomperDad (I’m still looking for the original post on his page, I’ll put it here when I find it… If you come across it please let me know!), and I stole the questions from it. Yup. The post was good, I got jealous, and I copied it (I’m joking, I asked… Calm down), the things I do for my readers! This is going to turn into a pretty long post, so I think I’m going to go ahead and treat this one like Bucket List and just give you a little at a time. Here’s your first taste.

1. Who are you named after?

I was born Alphonso Francis II, after my biological father. I really don’t know or care where he got it from. He and my mother divorced and my mother started using her maiden name (White) as my last name. When I went to enlist in the Marines they asked for my school records and my birth certificate. The school records that I had all had different variations of my name. There was Alphonso white, Alphonso Francis II, Alphonso Francis, and Alphonso White II. When I went to get my birth certificate I found out that my name had never legally been changed so I changed it there on the spot to Alphonso Francis White which in turn validated my school records and proved that I actually was who I said I was… So… I am named after… My self?

2. Do you like your handwriting?

3. What is your favorite lunch meat?

4. Longest relationship?

5. Do you still have your tonsils?

6. Would you bungee jump?

Nope, next question.

7. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off?

8. Favorite ice cream?

9. What is the first thing you notice about people?

10. Football or baseball?

11. What color pants are you wearing?

Grey. I’m am wearing the running pants that I recently bought for a race that I did back in January. It’s a 10 miler, but due to the snow that we got in the days leading up to the race they changed the course and took out some of the back-roads which shortened it down to 5.5. I tried to make up for it by running 4.5 before the race but after 3 miles I lost interest (and feeling in most of my nimbly bits). It was around 13 degrees (“feels like” temp was (I think) -3) at the start of the race if I remember correctly. Total, I ran 8.8 miles, I still got that 10 mile medal though (not entirely sure how I feel about it).

12. Last thing you ate?

13. If you were a crayon what color would you be?

14. Favorite smell?

15. Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?

16. Hair color?

Black, I keep it short though (in my Day-Day voice).

17. Eye color?

18. Favorite foods to eat?

19. Scary movies or happy endings?

20. Last movie you watched?

21. Favorite holiday?

Thanksgiving, for three reasons. 1 – Nothing beats Thanksgiving diner with my dad’s side of the family. There’s jokes, football, jokes about football, someone stealing and consequently being kicked out of someone else’s seat, and the never ending prayer that you think is about to end and then you hear “also, we just want to thank you for blah blah”. 2 – I’m a fat kid at heart. I EAT. And nothing beats Thanksgiving leftovers, well, nothing aside from the first thing that I said “nothing beats”. 3 – Football. Um… Nuff said?

22. Beer or wine?

23. Night owl or early bird?

24. Favorite day of the week?

24 1/2: Which three of your favorite bloggers do you want to know more about?

25. Who were the latest three people to follow your blog (link to their about page)?

Until next time, read some of my previous blog posts, you know ya wanna!

P.S. I am making some changes to the blog. Slowly but surely it is getting to where I want it to be. Hopefully you all like the new theme better than the last one. And no, I am not in fact as cocky as this picture makes me seem… But that is a pretty sweet mustache isn’t it?

You are just adorable! I’m allowed to say that because I’m old enough to be your mother. Then I read that you’re a Marine! All of my brothers were in the military but two were Marines so you shot right to the top of my “great guy” list with that. I need to read your bucket list(s) since I’m too darned close to kicking mine to put it off. Love your blog!
And thank you for following https://thecomfortablecoop.wordpress.com
