With this post I will have published 10 blogs (technically this is 11, but I don’t really count that first one). 1, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10! It’s so weird how small of an accomplishment this is but how big it is at the same time. It’s only been a month and already I have learned so much. I already have a couple random blog rules that I have made up for myself to follow (little things to keep me active, engaged, and on track); I have a small group of followers (some old friends, and some new ones from wordpress (31)); I have bloggers whose pages I regularly read and comment on, and my “scheduled” and “drafts” sections both have about 5 posts each. So far, I have received accolades for some blogs and disdain for others, requests to write more about certain topics and less about others, hell, I’ve even gotten spam on here. All in all, it has been a very interesting and eye opening experience so far. I understand now why I repeatedly see bloggers basically begging for attention on their blogs. Good, bad, or indifferent, all of those comments let me know one thing. People are reading what I write. Hopefully, the majority of my readers enjoy what I write.
I have to be honest here, it still hasn’t been all that easy coming up with things to write about. It has been progressively getting better though. Sometimes things just pop into my head and I end up publishing a completely new post instead of something that I had already scheduled. For that matter, this tenth blog post was drafted as something completely different than what it is now. I reread my posts before I publish them. I knew that I had the tenth post scheduled for today, I went to review it, got half way through and decided to go a different direction. The struggle is still real.
Moving forward, I want to give the readers what they want. You… I want to give you what you want. You have asked for lists of different things (money, morals, movies, music, random other M word) that I deem valuable, so I think I’ll start doing some “top ten blah blah blah” blogs. More background about myself, so I think I will do some follow up About Who? posts. More (and less) bucket list updates, so I think I will lengthen those a little but try to do them less often. More poems? On the way. My short stories? I’m working on it. Erotica? I’m probably going to limit myself to two, maybe three of these posts….. But, they are also on the way. More pathetic excuses for using semicolons? THEY; ARE; COMING (oddly enough, I’m pretty sure it works there)!
Bottom line, I hear you. And I would like to continue hearing you. I am going to end this with a VERY sincere thank you for following my blog journey thus far. And I know that I have said it before, but you should really take a gander on the right side of this page and go read something from someone in my community section. Also, post a damn comment. You read this, you liked it, or didn’t like it, or loved it, or hated it… Say something!

Congrats! I have thoughts of writing the stories of my crazy life, but my super ADHD brain does not allow me to form them into structured sentences that would make sense to anyone, even me! Glad you are enjoying this.

You should! It’s a lot easier than you think. I usually take my time writing these things, just adjusting little by little. And I often wonder how frustrating it must be to read some of the randomness that comes out in my posts, but who cares lol some people like that stuff.

It took me a while to really get into it, but now if I go a whole day without blogging (like yesterday) it feels so weird! Your groove will come!

My groove is definitely coming, I am already starting to find myself tinkering with and drafting blogs at least every other day. I think I’m going to focus more on drafting and scheduling for now, maybe I’ll eventually move to more than 2 posts per week.
